This thing is a complete piece of junk It does nothing it is supposed to do. The user manual is next to useless. There is no customer service or support whatsoever. I will never buy a Brookstone product again. EVER.
Nice Idea awful product I love this frame when it works I had to exchange my first one immediately as when I inserted the compatible SD disk it failed to work and only showed the Brookstone warm up screen. Store gave me no problems with even exchange for item that worked I took it home and it provided an awesome slideshow enjoyed by all. However it gave out after several weeks and I again took it back to the store and had to exchange for a THIRD unit. I have had that one for about 6 months and you guessed it it gave out AGAIN!! I would expect a better product for the price at a place like Brookstone but am hesitant to make any future purchases there.
this sucks i finally got around to opening this gift up after it was given to me last year. out of the box it just does not work. the power led goes on but the screen never does. when you push off the led on light stays on the only way to turn it off is to unplug it. pretty obvious this is junk. i can't see any reason why i would ever shop at brookstone. going forward i will ask for a gift receipt if someone gives me something with their name on it. I do not see how they even deserve one star zero hell negative stars seems right by me. the takeaway for y'all is don't walk away from brookstone run.
Don't waste your money This review is for the Brookstone Digital Frame model AH1812B. I spent $250 on this digital picture frame and gave it to my elderly mother as a gift. After she failed to make use of it I took it back. While the green LED comes on when it's plugged in the screen remains black. It is unresponsive to any of the buttons on the control panel. It has completely failed after only minimal use and there is absolutely no one at Brookstone to turn to for help. In short this product is a complete waste of money. My lesson buy computer products from computer manufacturers and resellers who can provide customer support and technical assistance. I will never buy anything substantive from Brookstone again.
