  • Compatible with all popular digital camera media formats, including CompactFlash Type I and II, SmartMedia, Memory Stick, SD, and MultiMediaCard
  • Supports JPEG files (the most common form of file format used by digital still cameras) at resolutions up to 6 megapixels
  • View multiple pictures in preview mode, delete, rotate and zoom with remote control
  • View and share digital photos with family and friends on the TV
  • Small and compact (about the size of a mini VCR)

  • Make your own Digital Picture Frame Using this product and a GRANDTEC GVC1000 Grand Video Console Video To VGA Converter you can output a flashcard to a LCD Monitor and have a digital picture frame. Note that this unit can't read from a camera only from the top level not from a folder.
Waste of money. It took 2 months for it to come in. USPS fault then I get it.. Plug it in powers up.. No signal to TV. Played around with it for an hour.
San Disk Digital Photo reader Poor quality outdated technology. Do not buy. I tried it as it was listed for about $10. Those were totally wasted. With technology so much more advanced there is no reason not to transfer your photos to/from computer and onto the appropriate media such as USB flash drive or SD card.
Ok but has some issues worth knowing about. I have heard these are being discontinued but since they are still for sale I'll pass along some information. I have used one of these continously for a couple years it has been very reliable. However it only works with FAT16 formatted SD memory. Important because of a limit of about 360 picture files that can be stored in a single folder/directory. A SDV1A can't see subdirectories so a 256mb or 512mb SD will only serve 360 files my 360 pictures added up to 273MB a 1gb SD still produced the same result. Second issue larger 3200 X 2400+ jpegs won't display. It skips over them along with some other smaller pics that I haven't guessed why yet. Still the SDV1A is worth considering because as I understand it their new model doesn't have an svideo output port.
Great way to view pictures on your TV This is a great product to view your digital pictures on your TV instead of cramming around your computer. Easy to setup easy to use can be a little slow at moving between pictures.Works great for grandparents to show off the grandkids.
Just ok Could never get it to work properly. It has some bugs sometimes its viewable sometimes not. Good luck if you purchase it.
defective Error code for most of my working sd cardsOne it had me wait for an hour but never recognized it.
Misleading The photo viewer is very misleading. It stated that was for modern digital cameras. Does not make exception. However Fuji xD photo card will not work. Since product is SanDisk only their cards work in the viewer. And the seller via Amazon denies selling to Amazon. Very bad experience.
Good value This unit had very good features for its' cost. Only negative is not being compatable with XD memory cards.
SanDisk SDV1A Digital Photo Viewer I purchased and mailed this viewer to my dad so he could view pictures on his Sanyo TV but after several attempts he couldn't get it to work. My dad called SanDisk and they said that the viewer would not work with his TV.

    • Ugly Cheap and Downright Embarrassing But Good Protection In theory getting five Itoya albums at this price point is a great proposition. Unfortunately the design leaves a lot to be desired. The albums themselves are made of an extremely cheapfeeling hard plastic this might do well to protect photos but does nothing in the way of presentation. The inner sleeves are of the standard Itoya lot flimsy but clear and easy to view photos through. The biggest drawback goes back to those plastic covers when packed into the included storage case any fine dust or dirt will become sandwiched between the albums causing them to get scratched and beatup in a hurry. When my set arrived the albums were already completely scraped beyond repair. These albums are good for one thing photo storage. I doubt any normal usage could ever crack these albums. But for actually SHOWING those photos? I'm embarrassed to even think about it. Needless to say these were returned as quickly as they came.

    • Black sewn leatherette trim
    • Unique 5 pocket pages
    • High capacity holds 500 4-inch by 6-inch photos
    • Archival, photo safe: acid, lignin and PVC free
    • Beige fabric cover

    • Nice and sturdy This is a pretty nice album. I'd recommend this as a high capacity 4x6 album. I'll probably be looking to order another soon.
Perfect for fitting a LOT of pictures in a notsolarge space! I found this album when I was looking for a way to organize approximately 1200 photos I took on a Mediterranean cruise I was recently on. I love the look of this album and the way it is organized. Each page has 2 vertical and 3 horizontal spaces for 4X6 photos.
Perfect to store lots of pictures Perfect album to store lots of pictures. It was exactly what I thought I was getting. Very happy with it. I like the little spot to write captions.
Good material Liked this album. Has a lot of space and it has space for horizontal and vertical photos. It also have space to write comments and remarks on photos.
LIES! It SAYS it will hold 500 photos LIES! I got the photo albums today and the wrapper SAYS Holds 300 Photos! Great.
These are not green!!! I really didn't want to buy these since the picture is soooo green on Amazon but they are actually black and light beige. I think these albums are great and I plan on buying more if they're available. They are a little wider than the other albums on my bookshelf meaning it hangs over the edge of the shelf a little due to the small area on each page they have for captions but everything else about them is great. The pics don't slide around in their spots and the plastic doesn't crinkle up when you turn the pages. One thing that you could say is a down side is there isn't really a way to know which side is the front. It came with a small thing of gold stickers I assume they are to put maybe a date or some other title info to identify the front. But there isn't a spot made for this.
Just What I needed This is a huge/ sturdy 500 page photo album large enough to hold several hundred photos but without being bulky. Just what i needed.
Great photo album NOTE Color isn't same as what is pictured this is explained under the item details. It is beige and black in color. The album itself seems very well made. None of the pages have tore or come apart when putting the pictures in which happens a lot to me with some of the albums I bought in local stores. I think it looks really nice/appealing and was a great deal. There is a notes area by the binding on each page and allows for 3 horizontal and 2 vertical pictures on each page.
Great Albums I have been using the same album for sometime now sorting through many years of pictures. I am on my 6th one and find them very easy to work with I often cut & crop allowing me to get many more pictures in each album.
ALL the pictures of my first trip to Disney fit. I liked the album. It is sturdy and pictures fit nicely organized vertically and horizontally. It worked for me. I will get more of these.

HP sd828a1 8-Inch Smart WiFi digital Photo Frame
HP sd828a1 8-Inch Smart WiFi digital Photo Frame Read more...

    • With True Enhanced Performance.
    • Latest Technical Development.

    • Waste of money First and foremost I haven't really used much of the WiFi functions on this frame with the exception of synching up with Photobucket and that seemed to work decent enough. The main reason for buying this was it seemed much easier to upload pic files from a PC via USB whereas most of the other digital frames are geared more for using memory cards/sticks and for just transferring pics from a digital camera. Connecting with the USB cable seemed simple enough when it was initially hooked up and a few files were transferred but the next day the PC wouldn't recognize the frame when it was hooked up. So I had to spend hours tweeking the thing to get my PC to recognizing it again. Once that was done and I was able to load up some jpeg and mp3 files is where the real problem began. With less than 800 jpeg files and a handful of mp3 files the drive was full which seemed kind of odd for a frame that supposedly has 512MB for memory but whatever..fair enough. The problem is once all the photos were on there accessing them was significantly problematic. Clicking on the All Photos button from the Internal Memory section continually got me an error message telling me the database was busy and I had to access the photos via the folders section. Well the folders section only lists a small percentage of the photos on the drive and even then it is difficult to access them as clicking on any individual photo repeatedly sometimes still wouldn't bring it up on the display. When pics did come up the display quality was pretty nice. The sound quality is less than impressive when playing MP3s so I can only assume it would be the same if you're accessing internet radio stations as well. Again I realize I was only purchasing this for limited functions that others may not care about but if a product has this many flaws on just things I care about I'm guessing they'll carry over to other aspects of the device as well.
Serious Piece of Junk I am also an IT person for aliving. I will jsut say that this thing seesm like it should be in alpha test not even beta test. The general concept is great. But I am very disappointed with HP.Good Qualities Can set up an email address to automatically send photos to is.Bad Qualities Picture frame is cheap plastic Speakers are horrible Device often loses its wifi connection and has to be reporgrammed. As other use mentioned integration is weak in terms of memory card to online photos. It often fails to do whatever online action you are trying to do and you have to keep on trying. It is so slow one is not often sure if the remmote is not working or wether its processing your request.I am embarrassed I paid $150 for this when it came out. Maybe its worth $60. if they come out with updated firmware for it it might work better.
Had to return it ! Right out of the box it refused to communicate with my wifi network which uses the secure WPA2. After 3 hours of messing with it I decided to change my router to WEP and it finally connected and download itself a new firmware version.Well it's all over the internet that the WEP is not secure so I changed againto WPA2 and the problems started . The connection to DHCP would fail most of the time or it would freeze while showing picture from Picassa website and trying to play radio station at the same time. Before buying this item see if HP decided to added the support on its own web site for my surprise I couldn't find this device listed there at all I called HP and their advise was to reset the router. What a pit! This device has good specs if would just work.At least buy.com was very friendly to accept it back and provided a shipping label.
Poorly integrated wireless I had high hopes for this frame. I did a bunch of research before purchasing and like many in the photo frame market am simply looking for a frame capable of receiving photos wirelessly in an easytouse comprehensible format with a reasonable user interface that doesn't require constant interaction after the initial setup. To preface this I'm in IT for a living and relatively savvy when it comes to electronic gadgetry. I'm quite confident I have given this an overly fair opportunity to succeed a few hours to be precise. In fact I was sure I was missing something because the options that don't exist are so central to making the frame even halfway worthwhile. And if by chance my assessment is incorrect shame on HP for not making it either easier to use or providing some sort of documentation for the wireless portion of the frame which by and large is left for the user to muddle through.Anyway simply stated the biggest issue I have with this frame is each of the functions is completely disparate from the rest of the frame. For example if you load pictures onto a memory card the frame will only play those pictures and not stream anything wirelessly. Likewise if you are wirelessly streaming photos via Facebook in a particular album not only is it impossible to have the slideshow also display Snapfish/etc photos but you can't even set it to include other Facebook albums in the slideshow! It seems crazy but I tried over and over again and using both the Facebook and Snapfish interfaces and I could only get it to display one album at a time. Once you're tired with that album apparently they expect you to manually set it to display a separate album and so on.Honestly is it so much to ask that the frame connects to my Facebook/Snapfish/etc account and displays random images from ALL photo galleries? Even better would be to be able to exclude specific albums but that's not even that important at least in comparison.
Freezes up I bought this frame about 6 months ago and was able to set it up initially. It found my wireless network and streamed Flickr photos but the frame would only access a single folder in my account. So I put in an SD card with photos and now it works for awhile and then freezes up on a single photo. The only way to get back to the slide show is to turn off the frame and then restart which requires going back through the setup again and choosing the card. Though I was once that means one time able to get it to accept pictures from my cell phone it was erratic in doing so. Plus I had to find out where it had stuck them. If I was looking at the cell phone photos I couldn't see the pictures on my card without going back through the menu and choosing the card instead. I agree with the other negative reviewersit's hard to get the frame to do what it should do even the basic part of playing a slide show continuously and support is almost nonexistent. I tried to research the issue on the HP site but they don't have anything and can't even find the name of my product on the Support page. I'm glad I didn't buy these as gifts for anyone.
It should work for my Mom I bought this frame as a gift for my mother so she could display photos of my daughter. I realized that any frame where she had to manually update the photos on the frame would likely become an unused brick unless if I continually mailed her updated flash drives. I selected this frame because of its integration with flickr and the capability for me to use a website to do the necessary updates to display new photos from flickr. This frame was very easy to setup.
There's Nothing Smart about the HP Smart WiFi Digital Frame Like many others I bought this HP digital frame as a gift. The main selling point was the WiFi capability that allows the frame to receive photos directly by email text message or photo sharing sites.Unfortunately the HP Smart digital frame is anything but.We have spent several days trying to setup the HP frame and getting it to work. Sadly it does not work well at all.You register your frame at the HP website in order to enable features such as weather photos by email etc. Herein lies the first big problem. Every time you choose Setup on the frame even to check previous settings you are forced to generate new authentication codes to associate the frame with your website account. This is very frustrating and inconvenient. The same thing happens with setting up the wireless network if you go into the setup menu the previously connected wireless network is removed and you are forced to reenter your wireless settings. Which can be a pain if you have to remember generated passwords/keys from your wireless router. After all the countless false starts and reentering settings we tried emailing photos to our newly registered frame.
Designed by Carly Fiorina? Well I guess I'm lucky because the frame is currently stuck in a firmware download reboot loop and so back it goes. But all the complaints from other reviewers. They're all accurate. The frame is slow the connectivity is poor with my netgear router using wep and it's 2010 and the frame does not do rss. But even the services it does do namely picassa it does poorly.
Poor Interface The frame can access all the popular photo sites but it does not allow you to have the pictures automatically do a slideshow. I wanted a frame to send to my parents that all the kids could just upload pictures to a website and then they would show up on the frame. The user has to navigate to the picasa facebook etc. page and select individual folders to view them one at a time. My parents can do that from their computer. Also the frame displays little icons for the various websites it supports in the corner. I don't want to see website logos in the corners of all my pictures. I returned the frame and am shopping for another.
Do not buy this This is the worst HP product I have bought.I can't connect with my Flickr albumbs. It is very difficult to set up.

When I turn it on it says no files but duh.I can't connect it to load the pics. The manual says to go to My computer and fTried emailing customer service and have not gotten a response yet.
not satisfied I just received this product and I am not satisfied because as soon as I received it I tried to turn it on and it did not work. I then checked the batteries that were in the item and they were corroded!! i cant believe the seller would leave the batteries in the item for that long of a time. That meant the item was used and in only fair shape. I hope that this does not happen again to anyone else. D.
bad display quality it's cheap but I would not recommend this product. The display quality is very bad. The screen size is so small.
Great customer service average picture quality I received one of these as a gift and didn't attempt to load pictures onto it until several months later. The device wasn't being recognized by the computer so I called customer service. My tech was friendly and helpful. He tried two or three different solutions and when none of those worked he sent me a brand new wide screen version of the device at no cost. I received it in two days and it worked beautifully! As far as the picture quality goes it's decent.
no good do not buy this. it is junk. picture is very bad and it didn't last very long before it stopped working. very small and hard to see the picture.
Don't waste you money. I bought this as a Christmas gift and was planning on preloading it with pictures for my mom. There was a virus in the software so I had to remove it without even putting anything on the darn thing. On top of that the screen is much smaller than the sticker on the front shows. It's a piece of junk and a complete wate of money.
Wallet Pex Digital Photo Album Personally I think this is a fabulous product.I no longer have to carry an oversizedhandbag just for photos of my Grandchildren.I have over 50 photos in this device that Ican show off and brag about.I've given this as a gift to family andfriends.I highly reccommend this item.L.J.
Wallet Photo viewer These are very nice little units for pocket or purse. The screen is small but I understood that from the specs prior to ordering. For the size of the screen it does very well in displaying the photos. If you want to view a photo with more than two people in the photo it might be a good idea to invest in a unit with a little larger screen. Also pretty much for close up shots and not distant shots. The included software that is built into the unit works great for inserting editing and deleting photos from the unit. Very satisfied.
small screen but looks good The picture quality is clear and it is very easy to use. I use only face shots and they all look great! What can you expect from such a small screen.
Christmas Dud Bought one for my wife for Christmas. It was DOA so I'll take it back to WalMart. After reading the other reviews I think I'll just take the money and look for something else. Luckily the slippers I got her fit.
