  • Really really bad I'd give it zero stars if I could. You get what you pay for. I bought this thinking it would be a great gift for my grandma but spent 4 hours trying to figure out what was wrong with it. It couldn't upload all the pictures the buttons were hard to press and it was very inconsistentsometimes it would play 4 pictures and loop around then it would play 10 pictures and loop around. My friend also bought this and had similar problems. My advice is spend a couple more bucks and get something that will actually work.
Great Frame I bought this for my mom for Christmas and she was pleased. Easy to add pictures and displays clear pictures. It could look a little better but for the price i recommend this product.
digital picture frame this is very versatile digital picture frame can be placed anywhere in the house and you can see all photos in a very pleasant one has stored in memory remove the memory of the camera and plugs into the picture frame and sufieciente with this is to see in addition to other great options.
Coby 7in Digital Frame Overall I would say it is a good product at a reasonable price. I really like that you can program on and off time. Some others say the menu is not user friendly but I found it very simple. I did end up returning it due to1. No shuffle option2.
Digital photo frame Item received right on time. I am very happy with its performance. Easy to load pictures to frame using a memory card. Nice size screen you will be able to see all your pictures on a slide show which you can time slow or fast. Will definitely recommend this item.
Defective BAD customer service I received the DP700 for a Christmas gift. Used twice in January with flash drive. Next time tried to use memory card would not load. I put the card in a friends Kodak frame and it was fine. I followed instruction in the trouble shooting section. Tried different media. Nothing. THEN attempted to contact customer service. After the 2nd call and approximately 20 minute hold a gentlemen asked questions and eventually gave me a tracking number and instructions to return it. Not only would I have to pay the postage to them with tracking of course but also include a $10 money order to pay for them to ship it back. Not a chance. I will not be purchasing COBY products.
Not as user friendly as I would have hoped This picture frame is nice. I can't say much more than that about it's looks. It's nothing super fancy. It has a good weight to it and the color is black so it's pretty hard to mess that one up. The images on the screen are good. They aren't the best but this is a bargain priced frame and it works sitting on my desk at work. I really didn't want to purchase a very expensive one in the event someone would five finger discount it. All that being said it isn't that easy to navigate the functions.
Awesome! I got this for my middle aged aunt for her birthday and loaded it with pictures. She loved it!! It worked great and was super easy to set up.
Awful Product Everything about this product looks and feels cheaply made. The pictures look awful. This was a gift for my grandma had all her children send pictures and I made sure they were formatted as the manual shows. It only shows about 1/10th of the images on the flash drive. I emailed the customer support 3 times before finally getting a reply the reply was to call customer support. I called and was put on hold for 25 minutes. When they finally answered they said Ive not seen the manual myself but I'm pretty sure in there somewhere it says the frame can only handle a 2gb flash drive so just buy one that's only 2gb and you should be fine.
Amazon Digital Frame package came on time just as you said it wouldvery easy to setup and we are enjoying the pics we put in the card. very nice product .

  • Coby DP882 Digital Picture Frame I am very happy with this purchase!I purchased this last Christmas for my Mom who is very hard to buy for. She is also nontechie! After reading other reviews I purchased this product hoping it would be easy for her to operate and have good picture quality for the price point. I am not disappointed! It was very easy for me to load pictures on it and get it setup for her. Once I ran it through a presentation I packed it up and sent it off to her. I was able to talk her through how to load the memory card and get it set up in one phone call. She loves it! It is a gift that can keep on giving because we can add photos through the years or get her additional memory cards with new photos. The only down side I found with this item is that pictures taken with my better camera which were larger files loaded slowly and the slide show advanced to the next photo almost as soon as the slow picture loaded. I went back in and edited the pictures to reduce the quality so they would load more quickly. At this price point I am very happy with the quality of pictures overall.
Do not buy this frame Purchased this for inlaws. Size and resolution were good and reviews online were positive. I should have known from the start that it was a mistake to buy this but Christmas was coming so I stayed the course. First the remote wouldn't work. Replacing the battery made it work better.
Great product great price I bought this for my 87 year old Mom for Christmas so that she could enjoy some of her memories and be able to enjoy her music while doing so. It is more than I expected. The picture quality is great for an 8 display and the sound is very acceptable. It came with an earphone jack though that wasn't clear in the specifications but it is definately there. That it does not have it's own internal memory may be one of the best attributes because it is so easy to load what you want on a flash drive or other memory device that it accepts and the device takes it from there. I would definately recommend this. My Mom has it on her night stand where she can turn it on or off and there is never a worry that the batteries will run out because it neatly plugs into the wall outlet. I can see another one of these in my not to distant future.
Great features The interchangable frame along with the built in MP3 player make this a must have. Picture thisSet up in your home or office with special music playing to your favorite photos.
Pretty nice frame and a pretty nice price The prices of these frames can get a little out of hand pretty quick but this frame is at a decent price I feel.Got a small 2gb thumb drive loaded my pictures on it and presto. Also could have used an SD card or a few other formats of memory cards.Pictures look good so I cant complain. Got it plugged in to an outlet that turns on with the switch on the wall so when I turn the lamp on the frame comes on too and goes straight into the random picture mode.Minus one star for the one very nit picky reason of the nature of the random mode.
Very good picture quality but Picture quality is very good. But I have tried 3 different Coby digital frames and the SD card reader on the Coby frames cannot read any of my SD cards. I have tried multiple cards but they cannot read any of them. The same SD card works in my camera other digital frame and even in this Coby frame if I put it in an SD card reader and attach it to the USB port of the Coby frame. This is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. BTW I don't use the video or the sound so I can not speak for that. I only use it as a picture frame.
Great product I purchased two of these as Christmas gifts and the kids love them. Picture and sound are very clear.
Good but still needs work It says on the box that it plays most mp4 and avi formats.. What a joke. All videos I tried to put on it did NOT work at all or the sound was really off. I was really upset by that. The picture quality is good and the sound when it works is nice as well. It also generates alot of heat for such a little device but oh well.
Buy at your own risk!!! I had high hopes for this Coby digital picture frame. The specs looked great and the price was right.Unfortunately I received this product with a major defect. The frame's software was corrupted so picture settings could not be set and pictures could not be displayed.Three emails to Coby's online support were sent with no response.
nice This digital frame is very attractive. It's a nice size and has some very nice features and the price was right. It made a great gift.

  • Includes Digital Photo Keychain, USB cord, software, and instruction manual

  • Shift 3 Photo KeychainBattery will not chargeno power I got the Shift3 unit as an exchange gift at a Christmas Party. Unit has no power and will not chargedefective from the start. Green light is on with no charge. Reset button does nothing. Suspect a faulty battery.I recommend staying away from this productnothing but frustration.
Shift3 Digital Photo Keychain Pictures were inferior to the other shift 3 digital photo keychain I got for a gift that was pink in color. It must have been an updated version of this one. The pictures on the pink one were much clearer. Also another difference was that I didn't need any software to download the pictures into that one but the blue one came with a CD to work with it. I was disappointed in the picture quality of this one. I would however recommend the newer more slim version that I had in pink.
Not worth the energy! Don't purchase! Slow! Power issues!
GARBAGE bought this at CVS. While loading the pictures into their slow program the screen on the device went blue. It says while the device is plugged into usb port the unit should display the word updating. It did this for a few minutes then died. Says there is a reset button. I tried this and it doesn't seem to feel or show any sign of activation. I knew I was buying cheap stuff but thought I could get some use out of it for a small period of time. I didn't even get pics uploaded it died.
not compatible with XP I received this little thing as a christmas gift and tried to install it on my XP system. The hardware wizard reported that the device did not pass a compatibility test with information about why that is important. considering the device is made to work with a computer i took my chances. BIG MISTAKE. ever since i installed the device my XP system has been unstable. all of my sound and video play functions in all programds whether windows media player or youtube are all messed up. I cannot hear any sound files or view any more video files on my system and even a system restore could not solve the problem. I have tried cleaning the registry and searching for an XP compatible driver to no avail.
Garbage don't waste your money! I purchased this as a gift for my mom. We planned on putting photos of the grandkids on it before giving it to grandma. Just as other posters have said I plugged it in the screen goes blue saying updating then shuts off black repeat to infinity. Won't stay on long enough to download pics. Tried the reset button which did NOTHING. Went to the website listed on the box there site is useless. Doesn't even list this product but has many that are now discontinued.
not worth the ewaste I got this as a gift and I think I would love it if it would work. I've had it plugged into my macbook pro for over an hour and it still says it is updating. I haven't gotten a single photo loaded on to it. It seems to be fully charged too. Oh well.
Great Device Just received this device for Christmas. I believe people do not read product manuals! I read the manual and the viewer operates perfectly. At this time I have 33 photos loaded onto it. While it says updating go ahead and put your pictures on it.
Good little viewer I just got it. I had no problem loading pics. Couldn't have been easier. The only question I have is how long the charge will last while turned off.
Shift 3 is ridiculous I have been trying to download photos for the last 2 hours with no success.

Zero Customer Service Looked like a nice gadget for the money. But screen not very bright even with a new battery charge.Thought that there might be a setting or adjustment possible.Tried writing the mfg. customer service/support given on their website and received no reply after two tries. Also found the name of a higher up but again not even the courtesy of any reply.Overall a Medioce product from a mediocre organization.

missing parts in the cell housing good morningToday I received the phone casing bold 9780 and missing pieces the product did not bring the buttons I want to return the product and receive one with full pieces.
Gargage I purchased this item for $3 on sale and I still feel cheated. I have the 161 model. It came wth no Usb or software. And the software is currently unavailable for the laptop I'm on Windows 7. Shouldn't have to put in such effort to use a photo viewer. Flash would be nice. Garbege.
Great gift for travelers I bought this keychain for my boyfriend who is currently stationed in Afghanistan. Great for travelers who want to carry a piece of home. It is an unbeatable price holds 60 pictures and the battery life seems great. Very user friendly plug it in and load photos. MAC COMPATIBLE. The key chain is super light amd for $10 it cannot be beat The picture quality however is not as great as in the product picture. Great going away gift for troops. Overall I would recommend this for anyone lacking a smart phone who wants to carry a number of pictures.

Kodak Easyshare W1020 10 Inch Wireless Not a good product

Kodak Easyshare W1020 10-Inch Wireless Digital Frame
Kodak Easyshare W1020 10-Inch Wireless Digital Frame Read more...

  • Wireless access to pictures on your home computer and leading photo sharing sites featuring Kodak Gallery and Flickr with built-in Wi-Fi capability
  • Play your videos or listen to your favorite MP3’s with the frame’s built-in speakers.
  • 10-inch high quality LCD with 16:9 aspect ratio; KODAK Color Science gives your pictures crisp details and vibrant colors
  • Store up to 4000 of your favorite pictures directly on your frame’s 512 MB of internal memory
  • 2 SD card slots are available to allow you to have extra memory to view more pictures

  • 169 ratio a dealbreaker as others have written in the past the 169 ration of the screen is very frustrating. you either have to fit to screen which will cut off parts of your photos and make them look like they are not centered or you have to put up with 1 inch black lines on either side of the screen to get to 43 which leaves you with nothing but a strange looking 8.5 inch frame. my suggestion would be to pass on this and get something with a proper aspect ratio.
Has it's issues It looks nice but it is not without it's issues. My husband is super tech savvy. He never could figure a way to get flickr to work with this frame. The Kodak website worked fine. However my MIL who received this as a gift has discovered some pictures that I did not put on the Kodak site. They were from a friend who shared her photos with me a while back. Weird thing is I can't access them through my account so I don't know how they showed up on the frame and I can't seem to take them off. I guess I need to talk to my friend and get her to take my email off of her account. Oy! It also does not grab new photos from the account until it is reset. By reset I mean that the whole frame turns off for a specified amount of time and then reboots up. We set it up to reset in the middle of the night but if the power goes out for some reason the clock has to be reset. Since we live 2400 miles away Grandma has to do it. This sort of defeats the purpose of setting it up so she doesn't have to learn all the confusing buttons. The idea was for her to get new pictures of the baby suddenly pop up on the screen. She could be walking by and see new pictures. A few of the times when it reset it went to the default internal pictures that came with the frame. You needed to go into the menu and make it look at the Kodak account again. We could never find a reason why it did that. Cute concept but it has a few flaws. Kodak needs to figure a way for the frame to check the online account more frequently to get updates rather then needing a timer set internally. They need to make it work better with flickr which is a free site. Using the Kodak site means that I have to make a purchase of photo prints every year from them to keep the account open. Otherwise they delete my pictures. Very coy Kodak and what a lovely way to make more money and screw the customer over. With the amount of money I spent on this frame I should be able to use the Kodak website for free to get the pictures. So if Grandma has no idea how to set up wifi much less a digital frame and can't understand what an online account is this is not the gift for her. If she is pretty savvy to fix issues then it might work out okay. And if you don't mind ordering prints from Kodak then go ahead. I can get them much cheaper through other websites so I will order the minimum requirement each year so I can keep the account open.
Not a good product This is my second Kodak frame. The previous on a 10 EX series died after about a year and a half. This W1020 reboots regularly without any input from we. The wireless is buggy and there is no software for Mac.It will go through short periods where it will not reboot by itself but they do not last very long. I have the latest firmware. The touch control on the edge of the frame is a nice idea but is poor in practice. The remote on the previous EX series frame was better. The image is good with good color. I would like better as I am a pro photographer but it is pretty good for what it costs.I replace the EX with a Pandigital Panel and it is rock solid although the color is not as good as the Kodak. No wireless on the Pandigital but for my application it is not needed. After many years of using Kodak products through film and early professional digital I don't think I will be buying another Kodak product.Kodak replaced my W1020 for the reboot problem. The new frame has issues with perfectly good files being corrupted when they are copied to the frame via usb. Files that are rotated one way on the computer are rotated differently on the frame. Sometimes the image will be rotated and sometimes not after I change it on the frame itself. This is a buggy product. The Pandigital frame that was much cheaper and it just works. Don't buy a Kodak frame.
Great for FrameChannel I bought this frame for my mother who does not own a computer. She lives with my sister and has WiFi in the house. I configured the frame to connect to the free online service called Frame Channel. Family and friends can email pictures to my Mom's Frame Channel account and those pictures will just show up on my Mom's frame. I can logon to the Frame Channel account and manage the pictures if necessary. Frame Channel also offers nice features like weather news etc. that will show up on the frame.I don't like to install PC software that comes with products like this. Generally it's not very good and screws up other things. If you want a setup like I have pictures from the Frame Channel service and nothing else don't install the PC Software.
Hardware quality issues I purchased 4 of these for relatives because I thought it would be a great way to share photos with them without having to instruct them how to get the pictures on the frame. Mission accomplished at first but then the hardware quality issues started.Within a year I had to return 3 of the 4 frames. One would lock up and continuously reboot itself. The second developed a vertical green bar on the screen. The third lost the menu option to connect wirelessly and even a factory reset and firmware reload wouldn't help.Kodak honored the warranty with no issues. I received 3 refurbished replacement frames and tested them. Of the three one of them didn't boot. I had to send that one back as well. I just received it in the mail and it's already having sporadic problems where the screen will flicker or an hourglass will come up and never disappear. If it weren't for the hardware issues I would really like this frame.
Perfect Magic Picture Frame for the grandparents Like many others I did lots of research looking for wireless digital frames with the idea of giving them as gifts to my parents and inlaws and having them constantly show photos of the kids and grandkids with little to no effort on the receiver's part. The picture quality is great and the touchscreen controls are sleek and invisible. This frame has many features but I'm focusing this review on how I set it up to do what lots of other people want it to do using Framechannel and Flickr. Here's what I did1.
Best of what's out there at a reasonable price I was able to purchase for $125 at a local electronics store. For the price the features are exceptional and the picture quality is good. I would recommend this with some caveats as noted below. Here are some tips1. Follow the install sequence precisely to get it set up correctly out of the box. Install the software first and completely before trying to connect the frame to the network.2. The software is quirky and crashes. Use the repair function on the supplied CD after crashes to repair. While time consuming this does get it working smoothly eventually. After it was fully set up there have been no additional crashes.3. If you have many pics and videos on your computer that you'd like to access via wifi I'd recommend sticking to the pics only. To avoid some of the problems reported by others I'd recommend sorting your pics into folders by year or some manageable size folders of 26 GB. I used photoshop select and copy the pics by year copying them to an internal hard drive C folder from an external which seemed to help with wifi access faster?. Then from the frame access the pics by folder. This helps avoid the problem of crashes that occurs if you try to access all wifi pics at once. This is not an ideal solution since I had hoped to have the frame access all of my network pics without intervention but it does work.Overall the frame is a good value but do not expect perfection and plan on spending a couple of hours to get it working to your satisfaction.
Shows a lot of promise The W1020 works well enough for me. I see plenty of things that could use improvement but in this case I think it's because any product that breaks new ground opens up a lot of possibilities. The 169 aspect ratio is wrong for a photo frame and the resolution is a bit coarse when you look too closely but it's good enough. I wish Kodak had included the ability to connect to Windows shared folders on my network but there are several other ways to accomplish the goal of streaming photos to the frame. I wish that the FrameChannel feed supported slide transitions the way local slide shows do but overall I'm impressed with it. It's maybe a bit overpriced considering that other frames are getting WiFi and touch borders now but at least Kodak is showing some 2ndgen improvement.
A sluggish flawed Digital Frame So I bought this frame for my wife. The idea was that I would pull the images wirelessly from our server and display them. I could update the folder on the server and the pictures would show up on the frame. Reality is that the frame can not communicate with standard servers for file service. So no sweat. Just use the special software and serve them from there. Hmm when it powers up it forgets that you told it to pull from the remote PC and pulls the demo pictures from frame memory. I gave up so wireless was a complete bust. No use at all for pictures. Now I put a digital card in a begin transferring pictures over. Oh my it was incredibly slow on the transfers. After waiting through 20 or so pictures I gave up again.
Almost Easy Enough for Grandparents I bought 3 of these in the past 6 months one for myself and one for each set of inlaws. The touch frame is better than a remote but not quite as good as I imagine a touch screen to be the only touch screen frame I found was very expensive. Most of the setup is very easy once you figure out how to scroll hint 1 touch directly under the up and down arrows rather than the nearest lighted spot on the frame as these do not necessarily line up Hint 2 the up and down arrows also scroll right and left when needed. I setup the frames to turn on and off automatically in hopes that the daily cycle would prevent any need of tinkering by the grandparents. I also went onsite to setup the link to their networks. Some have mentioned that network setup has been a problem but I was 3 for 3 and no problems at all.

  • Love this amazon item!!! This album is perfect for me and I've never seen one in the stores. I have two small children and I have their pictures made often. I don't have enough wall space for all the pictures so this album is perfect for safely storing their old 5x7 pictures. I would recommend this product. Thanks.
Photo Album becomes Ceremony Book I looked at office supply stores for these little beauties. They are perfect for a minister to use during a ceremony baby dedication wedding funeral and inexpensive enough to then hand the album with the ceremony written/typed out inside to the family.
5 x 7 photo album The quality of this album was decent enough. And it's virtually the only product which is easy to find for 5 x 7 photos with a low price point.
5x7 photo album They are exactly what I wanted. Besides the minor detail of not getting to select the color I loved them.
Perfect for 5X7 I wanted photo book for my grandchildrens older pictures. It is hard to find one for 5X7 in a store so this was a great find. I received it quickly and appreciated that.
5X7 PHOTO ALBUM REVIEW I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A 5X7 ALBUM FOR QUITE SOME TIME. MOST STORES CARRY 4X6 ALBUMS. I WAS VERY HAPPY TO FIND THIS ALBUM ON LINE. THE PRICE WAS EXCELLENT. THE ONLY CONCERN WAS NO COLOR CHOICE. FORTUNATELY MINE WAS BROWN SO I WAS PLEASED WITH THE COLOR WHEN IT ARRIVED.I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS ALBUM IF YOU ONLY NEED SPACE FOR 24 PHOTOS. THERE ARE ACTUALLY 12 SLEEVES 2 PHOTOS PER SLEEVE FRONT & BACK.THIS WAS GREAT FOR MY NEEDS.
Nice but doesn't close all the way. These albums look really nice for the price but if you fill them they will not close all the way. If your storing them in a full book case that might not be a problem but beware that the ones I received do not close all the way one their own when full.
Photo albums The photo album were exactly what i was looking for and they are good quality for the price and they did arrive faster than I expected.
